All Operators on this page hold the mandatory ‘Permission for Commercial Operations’ (PfCO) from the UK Civil Aviation Authority. Operators will also require a SAFETY CASE if operating at distances closer than 50m of the public or if operating in an urban area (if the aircraft weighs over 7kg).
If in doubt, please feel free to contact us for further clarification.
Operators who do not have Permission for Commercial Operations from the Civil Aviation Authority are operating illegally and will not have adequate insurance cover. Businesses that engage them for commercial consideration also run the risk of possible legal action.
If you are engaging an ARPAS-UK operator in the UK, they will be able to provide their Civil Aviation Authority approval documentation and insurance details, you can also see a full list of our members here.
