The board of directors is composed of 6 members elected during the annual general meeting. The number of directors may vary from time to time.
ARPAS-UK Board of Directors

- Aleks Kowalski of Skypointe. Aleks leads the BVLOS Special Interest Group.
- Anne-Lise Scaillierez of The Drone Office. Anne-Lise is the CEO and leads the Technology Special Interest Group.
- Craig Lippett of Eagle Eye Innovations. Craig leads the Regulation Special Interest Group.
- David Thurston of Carrot Drone Services. David represents the small drone operators at the board and contributes to the Regulation and End-Users Special Interest Groups.
- Graham Brown, Director. Graham leads the Careers in Drones Special Interest Group.
- Sarah Lay of Ebeni. Sarah represents safety culture at the board and contributes to the Technology and BVLOS Special Interest Groups.
The Operations Team

- Annabel Worthington: Annabel is Head of Membership & Engagement. Coming from the subsea sector, Annabel’s background has been in ROV-supported subsea inspection in the oil and gas industry, as well as dive-related activities. She is particularly passionate about autonomous and remotely operated technologies, along with the applications and advancements in additive and subtractive manufacturing associated with those fields. Annabel is now bringing her experience and interests to the UAV industry, enjoying her new role at ARPAS-UK, where she is involved in membership and engagement for the association and its members.
- Elena Major: Elena joined ARPAS-UK in 2017 and she is Head of Operations. Her first degree was in Modern Languages, from Oxford University. She has now embarked on a Masters in Uncrewed Systems via Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in the US. Elena is passionate about helping members achieve their goals in the drone industry.
- Mohammed Hasan: Mohammed supports the organisation on an adhoc per project basis, focusing on user cases and outreach activities to encourage young people to join the industry. Mohammed has a Bachelors in Chemistry from Queen Mary University, London and a Masters in Management from Cranfield University. Roles include managing timelines and communications. Keeping financial reporting inline with project deadlines. Attending events and conferences to network with key stakeholders. Building digital engagement through website and social media.
